The Lost of Jerusalem

Since Donald Trump became the President of Super Power America he has not proven himself a visionary man or leader. As his foreign policies and global statesmanship concern, he mounted an ever worst President for the US.  He did not yet spend a lot of time in White-House but he did open so many controversies. So many statements and incendiary decision that he made is the hazard to the international order. In his deferent talks and speeches, you do listen to him by saying, he will totally destroy North Korea. He also decertified the widely approved nuclear deal of Iran. Recently on Wednesday, Trump has dictated on the most formulated and sensitive issue, in fact, this issue is the global issue of the present day. He changed the status of Jerusalem and recognized it as Israel’s capital. He also pointed out that all the preparations are going to made soon to shift American embassy from Tel Aviv to Al-Quds. On this decision US President Trump disregarded in global opinion on the matter, the UN Secretary-General has also led the condemnation of the decision. He has suggested to the some of American’s most closet allies to one fell dive because Trump has made lawful five decades of Israeli occupation of Palestine.

The rest of the world also has been highly critical of the move, led by the Palestinians. Leading the Palestinian groups, Fatah and Hamas have banged the verdict, with objection breaking out in the occupied territories. The reply from Arab and Muslim Capitals has been also very much significant. Al-Quds reposes in the heart of Palestinian identity and for the US to ‘gift’ the disputed city to Israel is for sure to end the two-state solution. As per the 1993 peace treaty, the final status of Jerusalem was to be determined mutually. It seems the agreement no longer holds.

The question becomes in mind that so what now??? While Israeli leaders have been rejoicing over the progress, the occupied territories are overflowing with displeasure. There have been many prophecies of a third tremor being launched; this thoughtless move by the US leader will be the spark that gives origin to this disturbance. Embarrassed by the Israel for decades & treated in a subhuman approach, now identity being grabbed away from them. While there is not much room for optimism, I don't know the global community can pressure the US to re-examine this highly unwise and precarious move.

Another thing that US President like his all forerunners has clearly told us by his deeds that he has no objection for calm between Israel and Palestine. Jerusalem is the home of the third big religious site of Islam, granting it as capital to Israel is cheering them to make more illegal statement touching Palestine people. After Trump’s speech, Israel will believe more encouraged than to previous. The history of Palestinian statelessness is an account of its existence a disappointment by countries that claim to be its friend. Those countries have to step up now and show their assurance to the mainly significant cause of our time.
